TOP MOBILE PHONES IN UNITED STATES, BEST MOBILE PHONE COMPANIES IN UNITED STATES, GOOD SERVICE PROVIDING MOBILE COMPANIES IN UNITED STATES
Consumers in the United States have a variety of cell phone providers to choose from. Therefore, it is not always clear which cell phone provider will provide you with the best service. However, according to PC Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Survey 2011, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless are the best cell phone providers in the contract category and TracFone and T-Mobile are the best cell phone providers in the prepaid category.
TracFone :
TracFone is a cell phone provider that only deals in prepaid cell phone service. The company does not have its own cellular towers and infrastructure, but contracts with other cell phone providers to supply cell phone coverage to its customers without the use of contracts. To become a TracFone customer, you must activate your phone with an activation card. You can use the company’s prepaid minutes or purchase a monthly, no-contract minute plan.
T-Mobile :
Although T-Mobile offers contract plans, its prepaid services were rated the best. The company’s Pay as You Go voice calling plan gives you better rates if you put more money at one time on your phone. Examples include rates between 10 and 33 cents a minute for spending $100 and $10, respectively. You can also use your Pay as You Go credit to send text messages or buy Internet access day passes.
U.S. Cellular :
U.S. Cellular offers customers both consumer and business cell phone service plans. However, U.S. Cellular service is not available in all U.S. markets. The company’s consumer plans include individual and family options. U.S. Cellular’s contracts last an initial two years, but customers are not required to sign new contracts after that period of time. Customers can accrue points with the company in its customer rewards program and redeem them for things like new cell phones and accessories.
Verizon Wireless :
Like T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless has its own cellular towers and infrastructure. In fact, Verizon Wireless is the company with the largest wireless network in the United States. While Verizon Wireless also offers prepaid cell phone service, its contract plans are what earned it high customer ratings in the PC Magazine survey. Verizon Wireless offers both consumer and business cell phone plans. The consumer plans include individual, family and even senior citizen plans. Customers can select monthly service plans with different levels of minute options to best fit their usage habits.
